So here it is, in all its glory: the New & Improved PaulandStorm.com. You like?
The atomic batteries should be to power, and the turbines should be to speed, so everything here should be in working order. Please poke around the place, get a feel for it, and tell us what you like, what you don’t like, if you have any problems, or if you just feel like chatting.
Several repeatedly-requested features—most notably, a complete collection of our lyrics—are now available. Also, there’s lots more stuff on the way real soon—things like pictures, discussion forums, polls, general random fun (such as the long-promised “Gallery of Thrown Panties”), and so on—so keep on checking back. If there’s anything you particularly would like us to add, let us know. Because we’re in a panderin’ mood!
There is one problem we’re already aware of: apparently, the “song preview” buttons on the Songs page and individual Lyrics pages don’t work on Intel-based Macs. If you don’t have an Intel-based Mac, but still can’t play the songs, please let us know. We’re working, MacGyver-like, on a solution that will work for everyone, but it’s been rather elusive so far.

The problem with the listening buttons on the songs page only appears to be affecting the first two batches of them. The older songs appear to be working fine.
Also, on my Mac, using Safari, if I pull up the Activity window and double-click on the button’s entry in there, the browser pulls up a giant version of the button, and that works every time, no matter what song it is.
I think it might have something to do with the way the Flash files are embedded on the page, and it doesn’t seem to affect alternate browsers on the Mac such as Firefox or Camino.
Also, I don’t think it’s a problem with Intel-based Macs, since I’ve experienced the problem on my older PPC-based Macs as well, but only if I’m using Safari.
That is not clear for me completely.Anyway thanks for your thoughts.
Regards.
This weekend I’ll see if I can figure out how you guys can fix it.
Go ahead and email me some words of discouragement if you want, P&S. I respond particularly well to such phrases as, “Jim, you’re a pathetic hanger-on,” “Jim, we need your help as much as we need our guitars smashed over our heads in front of our mothers,” and “Jim, you’re obviously mistaking that misshapen growth on your shoulders for a head.”
In the meantime, everyone else, if you’re on a Mac and you want to listen to the buttons on the Songs page, just pull it up in a different browser than Safari, such as Camino, Opera, or Firefox, and marvel at the bright shiny talent.
