The eighth episode of our podcast, Paul and Storm Talk About Some Stuff for Five to Ten Minutes (On Average), is now online.
In this particularly failure-obsessed episode: the difficulty of adapting songs for live shows; disasters, especially where Jimi Hendrix is concerned; worries, fears and bad dreams; and the subject of pajamas proves more fruitful than Paul had originally thought.
Featured post-show song: “Me Make Fire” – Paul and Storm
Show #008: A Pajama Jammy Jam (Some content NSFW)

I think you need to make Acknowledgment Day an event on Facebook if you want it to succeed.
I still think “JoCoPaSto” is a good name, especially when said in a Bill Cosby impression voice. Along with the tour dates, make sure you put web URLS – everyone who wears it should, after all, be a walking billboard for you and Coulton. Plus other geeks will see the fractal + Pink Floyd, be intrigued, want to ask for more information and like whoa, that’s one of those Internets.
To translate the song live, have people come up on stage and do the dance mentioned in the song and/or Len’s graphic.
You guys will at least have Jon, Jeff, and probably Wendy at Jammin’ Java (right, you three?). They’ll have to position themselves strategically for moral support. I shall, therefore, take it upon myself to pressure them.
It’s not If We Didn’t Have Jesus is it? That Randy Newman song, that is.
I just thought, Talk Like a Pirate Day is to you what May 1 is to Coulton, amirite?
belated minion pic
Oh wow, I just got sorta name-dropped in a P&S podcast! Does this make me famous, too? I am honored (er, I think…) to be known as ‘minion who held up her cat’. I am sure Ginger will be happy to learn her suffering through wearing a tiny paper pirate hat was not in vain and she is now officially 1/2 a Paul and Storm Minion. I think the minions should be know by their number ala Venture Bros. And I’ll be at Jammin’ Java so along w/ Lena’s friends it sounds like you’ll have at LEAST, what, 16 people there? That’s enough for a party in my book! More chance of getting a snack cake hurled at my head.(I keed, I keed!) 😀
Don’t feel too bad. Ben Folds also couldn’t do much with Purple Haze. (Check out his live version at http://www.wokeupwaytoolate.com)
