The fifty-twoth episode of our podcast, Paul and Storm Talk About Some Stuff for Five to Ten Minutes (On Average), is now online.
This week’s episode: with Paul away at the beach, Bill Corbett of Rifftrax and MST3K fame joins lonely, lonely Storm to bring you tales of The Road and of other great place aside from The Road; the upcoming Rifftrax Live “Plan 9 From Outer Space” is semi-deconstructed; nachos; the New Yorker picking through your trash; hobos; adjustable English; and the art of riffing.
Featured post-show song: “Welcome to Space School” by Clawjob

Congrats on a full year’s worth of episodes! And thanks to Bill for filling in for Paul this week. 🙂
The comparison you made between stand-up comedians and junior high/high school teachers made me smile. The thought of being a stand-up comedian terrifies me, but it’s true there are a lot of similarities between it and teaching. Having a sense of humor has definitely helped in my classroom on more than one occasion.
BTW, what happened to The Puppet? We haven’t seen him in awhile…
Yeah! I miss the little guy. I can still hear his theme song playing faintly in my dreams……
Given how tired I get just from traveling over a long weekend, I don’t think I could hack it on the road. (Of course I don’t a talent that would warrant it, so it’s sort of a moot point.) I’m very glad that you guys do, though. Can’t wait ’til next month’s show in Boston. 🙂
I hadn’t realized before how much Bill sounds like the voice of Brain (as in “Pinky and the”).
