The eightyth-eightrnd episode of our podcast, Paul and Storm Talk About Some Stuff for Five to Ten Minutes (On Average), is now online.
This week’s episode: We talk about nothing for a while (numbers, microphones, and Paul’s Snoopy Wall); waterbeds vs. plywood-style mattresses; real names, ethics, “hippie school,” and a story where Storm learns an important lesson at a young age; the joy of “Weird Al’s” latest tour, plus tracksuits; and Storm’s special Kinks concert memories.

Graceful Ramrod is my Guns ‘N Roses / Velvet Revolver cover band. 😉
Dang. How did I not know Weird Al was in my neck of the woods this week? I’ve never seen him live either. ::sadface::
My best concert to date was the first Family Values tour at the then-Centrum Center in Worcester, MA sometime in the winter of 1998/99. The lineup was Orgy, Limp Bizkit, Ice Cube (such an asshole – threw a fit and walked off stage after one song), Rammstein, and Korn. Sadly, we had to leave before Korn, lest we miss the bus home, but it was still a fantastic show. That said, I fully expect it to be eclipsed by the wonder that is w00tstock. [/pandering to the overlords]
You’ve forced me into it.
Weird Al doesn’t wash his hands after going to the bathroom.
There. Sorry.
Yay woo! Jammin Java! I’m sure that will be my best concert experience ever and I won’t have to lie and say it was JoCo+TMBG in VA when everyone spontaneously pogoed.
Good call on keeping the Snoopy Wall, Paul. How could you possibly get rid of such a great thing?
Oh, not sure if you guys know, but the mouseover text for the mp3 file link says “Show #075: Reclining Up”, and I think it says the same for at least a few others between then and now. No big deal, but FYI.
can i just say… that is one funny photo of Weird Al, not the face you’d normally expect during Yoda:)
