Can something be awesome and creepy at the same time?
I guess so.
Ummm…

There’s a nice little review of Gumbo Pants at Rambles.net. Check it out – they called us "adept"! How you like them apples?
Goin’ South…
Thanks to everyone in the middle of nowhere Grand Island, NE last Friday for one of our most memorable shows in a long time–a really rowdy crowd, with snack cakes, panties and a wedding ring (not one of ours) flying through the air.
We have heard your cries, and we understand; so this week, we make our long-awaited return trip to Nashville and Atlanta. So it’s time for the Southland to quit yer bitchen’ and come on out to the show…

11/9 – The Five Spot
1123 Euclid Ave., Atlanta, GA

My Fantastic Plastic Girl
It would seem that news is, in fact, cyclical.
The Associated Press reports that one Craig McCullough was arrested in Cedar Rapids, IA last Wednesday, after allegedly being found in an office building restroom lying next to an inflatable, anatomically correct doll with his pants down. The man has a criminal record that includes a 2004 conviction for breaking into a bridal boutique and stealing a mannequin in a bridal dress. (Full story here)
Our song "My Fantastic Plastic Girl" was inspired roughly one year ago by another intrepid soul with a thing for artificial ladies. So we rededicate the song to our new Iowa friend, and wish him luck in his endeavors. Because it’s hard to be misunderstood.
And once again our buddy Len, a.k.a. The Fastest Illustrator in the Territories, has graced us with an uncannily-illustrated version of the song. He’s downright spooky sometimes.
